Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in the broad field of fluid dynamics and flowing matter. The research profile may be theoretical, computational, experimental, or a combination thereof, and you will lead your own research program within the Fluids and Flows unit of APSE.

You will contribute to high-quality education, collaborate with other departments and industry, and help shape curricula in Applied Physics.

Formación

• PhD in (Applied) Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• At least two years of relevant research experience after the PhD as a postdoctoral researcher or equivalent.
• For TU/e PhD graduates, at least one year of substantive research experience in a genuinely different external scientific environment is expected.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and conduct high-quality research, evidenced by a strong publication record and other relevant scientific achievements.
• Motivated to teach, contribute to educational processes, and (further) develop as a teacher.
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Independently develop and lead your own research program and team.
• Contribute to high-quality education and curricula development in Applied Physics.
• Collaborate across TU/e with other units and industry.
