Eindhoven University of Technology invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the broad field of fluid dynamics within the Fluids and Flows unit of the APSE department. The role supports theoretical, computational, or experimental approaches and aims to advance fundamental understanding while translating insights into societal impact.

You will independently develop a research program and team, contribute to Bachelor/Master curricula, and collaborate across disciplines and with industry.

Qualifications

• PhD in (Applied) Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead your own research program and team.
• Contribute to high-quality education and curricula development in Applied Physics.
• Foster collaborations across disciplines, units, and industry.
