Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Venlo is seeking an Assistant Freight Forwarder to support the logistics team and learn the business while coordinating shipments within Europe and beyond.

You will plan routes, optimize mileage, communicate with customers and drivers, and grow with a fast‑paced, global logistics provider. A mix of training and on‑the‑job experience comes with benefits like a pension plan and training through the DSV Academy.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of transport or a degree in logistics is a plus
• Dutch and English language skills are required; German is a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shipments for our trailer fleet
• Proactively communicate with customers, partners and drivers
• Monitor shipments and address irregularities in loading, unloading and delivery
