Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Junior Freight Forwarder (Road) in Tilburg for a full‑time role with 32‑40 hours per week. After onboarding, remote work up to 2 days per week is possible.

You will find optimal road transport solutions, build relationships with customers and carriers, and coordinate shipments across DSV locations. English and Dutch proficiency are required, with a learning mindset and team spirit.

Qualifications

• Vocational or bachelor-level education with a working and thinking level.
• Motivation to learn the freight forwarding profession.
• Curiosity about international logistics and road transport dynamics.
• Good command of English and Dutch.
• Accurate, eager-to-learn, resilient attitude; teamwork orientation and willingness to ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Find the best transport solution for international road shipments, considering routes, costs, capacity, deadlines, and country rules.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, partners, and DSV locations abroad.
• Communicate with different parties to follow up shipments and achieve best results.
• Maintain calm overview and adapt quickly to planning changes, finding solutions under pressure.
