Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to accelerate adoption of its products with enterprise customers. You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to deploy cutting-edge GenAI solutions, addressing complex needs and delivering measurable business impact.

You will join a customer-facing team bridging research and production, with responsibility for end-to-end project execution, model refinement, and technical guidance across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• 2+ years as a technical individual contributor on AI-based products.
• Proven experience in AI/ML product implementation with APIs, back-end and front-end interfaces.
• Experience in Fine Tuning LLMs, tackling advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
• Deep understanding of concepts and algorithms underlying ML and LLMs.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex tech to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deploy into production use cases with significant business impact across industries.
• Work on state-of-the-art GenAI applications from consumer products to industrial cases.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on complex projects involving fine-tuning and LLMs.
• Contribute to pre-sales calls by explaining Mistral technologies to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and science teams to improve models based on customer feedback.
