Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer focused on DevOps to help customers adopt our AI products and address complex technical challenges.

You will onboard customers, deploy state-of-the-art AI applications, and work with researchers and product engineers on high-impact projects. Strong communication and production-grade deployment experience are essential. You will also engage in pre-sales discussions to understand client needs and articulate technical solutions.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
Experience deploying AI-based products in production environments.
Proficiency in Python and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Onboard customers on our products, guiding deployment and integration and ensuring optimal production setup from GPU stacks to back-end/front-end interfaces.
Deploy state-of-the-art AI applications for consumer and industrial use cases in collaboration with customers.
Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex customer projects involving deployment, scaling, and contributing to open-source codebases.
Participate in pre-sales calls to understand potential client needs and articulate technical guidance on Mistral technologies.
