The Role
As an AMS Verification Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary development team working on next-generation semiconductor products for industrial and automotive applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of complex mixed-signal integrated circuits, from verification planning through sign-off.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute AMS verification plans for chip‑level verification.
- Build, maintain, and enhance verification environments using SystemVerilog, UVM, and real‑number modelling techniques.
- Develop testbenches and verification models for complex mixed‑signal designs.
- Define verification coverage targets and track sign‑off metrics.
- Analyze verification results and support debugging activities together with design teams.
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of verification methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with analog, digital, and mixed‑signal design engineers.
Your Profile
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor development is a must.
- Strong experience with AMS Verification.
- Hands‑on experience with the Cadence Verification Environment.
- Solid understanding of Mixed‑Signal IC Design.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SystemVerilog
- UVM
- Verification methodologies and coverage‑driven verification
- Experience with Verilog‑AMS, wreal, or other real‑number modelling techniques is a strong advantage.
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power Electronics (big plus), including:
- AC/DC conversion
- Power conversion systems
- Power management solutions
- Experience in Automotive Semiconductor development.
- Knowledge of chip‑level verification for safety‑critical applications.
