Job summary

Stealth Startup in Amsterdam is seeking an AI Transformation Lead to drive a major AI programme for a client. You will couple strategic vision with hands-on AI development, building agent-based prototypes and shaping the governance and adoption framework across the organisation.

You will work with senior executives, run workshops, and translate prototypes into production-ready solutions with our engineering team, delivering measurable business outcomes and lasting change.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale AI transformation programmes.
• Hands-on ability to build AI agents and prototypes.
• Proven stakeholder management at executive level.
• Background in management or technology consulting.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

We're a fast-growing AI scale-up building agentic AI systems grounded in behavioural science, working to solve complex real-world problems in different sectors including commercial, finance and public sector.

We are looking for an AI Transformation Lead to join our team in the Netherlands and lead a major AI transformation programme for one of our clients.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who can lead an AI transformation by actually building with AI.

Someone who can walk into a boardroom, understand the business challenges, identify where AI can create real value, and then build a working agent to demonstrate it.

The challenge isn't simply introducing AI tools. It's transforming how an organisation operates, how people make decisions and how AI becomes part of their everyday work.

That means:

• Leading an end-to-end AI transformation programme for a large organisation
• Building working AI agents and prototypes using tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot Studio
• Identifying business problems where AI can save time, reduce risk or create value
• Working directly with senior executives to shape AI strategy and priorities
• Running workshops, training teams and building AI adoption across the organisation
• Translating successful prototypes into production-ready solutions alongside our engineering team
• Establishing AI governance, policies and practical frameworks for responsible adoption
• Building a longer-term AI roadmap based on measurable business outcomes

You'll work directly with our AI engineers, client leadership and teams across the organisation.

Sometimes you'll build a working prototype in a day to demonstrate what's possible. Other times you'll lead a complex transformation initiative involving multiple stakeholders, business functions and technical challenges.

We're particularly interested in people who come from management consulting, business transformation or technology consulting backgrounds, but who have become genuinely hands-on with AI.

You should have experience leading organisational change, working with senior executives and delivering programmes with measurable outcomes.

But equally importantly, you should be someone who actively builds with AI. Someone who experiments with agents, understands their capabilities and limitations, and knows how to turn an interesting demonstration into something people actually use.

Experience with enterprise AI platforms, finance transformation, business intelligence or AI governance is a plus, but not essential.

Fluent English is essential. Dutch is a plus.

What matters is a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on AI capability, comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring people along through change.
