Capgemini Invent is seeking an AI Architect to lead AI strategy, design scalable architectures, and deliver AI-enabled transformations for client organizations. You will work with executives to shape AI roadmaps and oversee end-to-end implementation across multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes governance, security, and responsible AI, with exposure to Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Google Gemini. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in consulting, solution architecture, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience delivering AI, Generative AI, and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on with AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini) and LLM integration.
• Business development experience including proposals, bids, and RFPs.
• Strong governance, security, privacy, and compliance understanding.

Your opportunities as an AI Architect at Capgemini Invent

As an AI Architect, you will play a leading role in helping organizations harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to drive transformation, innovation, and business value. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to define AI strategies, design scalable AI architectures, and deliver solutions that create measurable impact.

Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will translate strategic ambitions into practical, future-proof solutions while guiding organizations through the opportunities and challenges of AI adoption.

In this role you will:

• Drive AI-enabled transformation by designing and delivering AI-powered solutions that improve customer experiences, increase operational efficiency, and enable new business models.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and own the architecture of complex AI and digital transformation initiatives, from strategy and business case development through implementation and adoption.
• Act as a trusted advisor by building strong relationships with clients and advising executives and senior stakeholders on AI strategy, emerging technologies, and digital innovation.
• Collaborate across disciplines with consultants, designers, data scientists, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

AI Solution Design & Architecture

You will increasingly work with cutting-edge AI capabilities and help clients realize value at scale. This includes:

• Identifying opportunities to incorporate AI into existing or new digital products, services, and operating models.
• Designing enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions using modern architectural patterns such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, prompt orchestration, and fine-tuning.
• Developing rapid prototypes, MVPs, and proof-of-concepts to validate technical feasibility and business value.
• Designing secure, scalable, and responsible AI solutions, including governance, compliance, security, and risk management considerations.
• Defining AI operating models, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmaps.
• Helping clients understand both the opportunities and limitations of AI while balancing business value, technical feasibility, and organizational readiness.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams consisting of architects, engineers, consultants, and designers.

A significant part of your role will be helping clients move beyond experimentation and successfully scale AI initiatives into production environments.

Your home base at Capgemini Invent

You will become part of our Business Technology practice, a community of consultants, architects, and technology experts focused on helping organizations transform through technology.

Within Business Technology, we support leading organizations across industries with challenges related to digital transformation, cloud, enterprise architecture, AI strategy, and emerging technologies. AI plays a central role in our growth ambitions and the value we deliver to clients.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams and have access to a global network of experts, thought leaders, and innovators across Capgemini Invent and the wider Capgemini Group.

Business Development

You will be leading proposals, bids, RFPs, and client pitch contributions. You will also help shape innovative offerings, build trusted relationships with clients, and be required to deliver new bookings of 1m per annum.

Drive thought leadership, contribute to practice development, mentor colleagues, support recruitment activities, and help grow our AI community.

• Strong understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Experience managing complex transformation programs and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at both business and technical levels.
• Fluent in English (must have) and Dutch (preferably).
• You are currently living in the Netherlands.
• You possess a valid Dutch and/or EU work authorization and are able to work in the Netherlands.
