Job summary

Ohpen is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Amsterdam-based Savings & Investments engineering team. You will lead a group of senior engineers, own delivery, and shape the technical direction with the S&I Architect and product specialists.

You will foster a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on excellence and AI-enabled engineering. You’ll report to the S&I Engineering Director and partner with client-facing teams to translate business needs into executable plans, with a strong

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading teams of 6–12 senior engineers.
Background in financial services, fintech, payments, insurtech, or enterprise SaaS.
Experience delivering complex software in C#/.NET or a comparable strongly-typed stack.
Track record of building delivery structure: OKRs, RAG reporting, sprint discipline, and metrics.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of senior engineers based primarily in Amsterdam, owning performance, growth and team health.
