Job summary

La Fosse in Amsterdam seeks an experienced IAM Manager to lead a team of senior engineers and drive AI-powered identity initiatives. This leadership role blends people management with technical delivery and a credible AI strategy across the IAM function.

You will shape roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional projects with Security, IT and Engineering, and balance innovative agentic automation with security and operational requirements while engaging senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing senior and principal-level engineers.
• Strong people leadership, performance management and coaching.
• Deep understanding of AI, AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience defining AI-driven or agentic workflows strategies.
• Ability to discuss AI architecture, security considerations and trade-offs credibly.
• Solid IAM knowledge including authentication, authorization and federation.
• Experience leading complex technical projects across engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership communication.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, autonomous technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of senior and principal IAM engineers.
• Set priorities, direction and accountability across the team.
• Coach and develop highly experienced engineers.
• Drive adoption of AI and agentic automation across IAM.
• Identify opportunities to build agentic workflows.
• Develop an AI-first approach to IAM engineering.
• Coordinate IAM projects and manage priorities and blockers.
• Partner with senior engineers on architecture and decisions without owning hands-on implementation.
• Turn strategy into roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Manage engineering capacity and ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact work.
• Report progress, risks, priorities and resourcing requirements to senior leadership.
• Work across Security, IT and Engineering teams to deliver key identity initiatives.
