Aegon Investment Management B.V. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to enhance the AP process, manage expense accounting and VAT administration within AIM’s Dutch operations.

The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and the Aegon Group invoice processing department. You will support accounts receivable activities, payroll-related reconciliations, and the monthly close, while ensuring strong internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related studies.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience with accounts payable, expense accounting and month-end close activities.
• Experience with VAT administration and financial reconciliations.
• Payroll accounting knowledge and related balance sheet reconciliations.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage and continuously improve the accounts payable process (invoice processing, approvals, payments).
• Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders, suppliers and invoice processing teams.
• Oversee accounts receivable activities, billing and collections for AIM B.V."s Dutch operations.
• Administer VAT processes in line with Dutch regulations.
• Coordinate payroll accounting and reconciliations with HR.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing; strengthen internal controls.
• Lead finance projects focused on process optimization and automation.
• Provide proactive financial support and partner with the organization.
