Aegon Investment Management B.V. in the Netherlands seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist with 3–5 years of experience to manage the accounts payable process, handle invoice processing and payments, oversee VAT administration and payroll related reconciliations, and support the monthly closing with strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in business administration, accounting, finance or other relevant studies.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience with accounts payable, expense accounting and month-end close activities.
• Experience with VAT administration and financial reconciliations.
• Understanding of payroll accounting processes and related balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approval workflows, supplier relationships and payment execution.
• Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, suppliers and the invoice processing department regarding invoice and payment-related matters.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including client invoicing, collections and payment processing for AIM B.V.'s Dutch operations.
• Administer VAT processes and ensure compliance with applicable Dutch tax and VAT regulations.
• Account for payroll activities, including payroll journal entries and reconciliations in cooperation with HR.
• Oversee day-to-day administration of AIM B.V. and related entities and support close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, substantiations and accruals.
• Participate in finance projects focused on process optimization, automation and internal controls.
