Job summary

IQ Messenger in Dordrecht is seeking an Industry & Government Account Manager to build new commercial opportunities and liaise with business and IT contacts across the Netherlands.

You will develop and execute sales plans, demonstrate the value of a central alert platform, and report activities in our CRM; travel within the Netherlands is possible and a driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Higher professional or university thinking level (HBO/WO) in sales or related field.
• Background in sales within industrial automation preferred but not required.
• Excellent Dutch and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct contact with companies in the Netherlands to present integrations and applications; occasional international visits.
• Develop and execute a sales plan to meet revenue targets and attract new clients.
• Optimize work processes using the IQ Messenger platform.
• Accurate CRM activity reporting.
• Grow the business through proactive prospecting and networking.

This is evident at companies in food production, petrochemicals, manufacturing, offshore, water authorities, and even superyachts. IQ Messenger integrates with production systems, building management systems, emergency buttons, emergency numbers, intercoms, and more.

With IQ Messenger, we ensure that employees monitor a single communication channel to receive all relevant notifications.

IQ Messenger is looking for a passionate Industry & Government Account Manager who creates new commercial opportunities. You liaise with business and IT contacts to review their ideal workflow and understand where the alert originates, on which device, and to which employee it arrives. You convince them of the added value of a central alarm platform.

Together, you will visit the companies you have excited about our product. This way, you will get to know our solutions inside and out before heading out on your own.

Your responsibilities

• Direct contact with companies in the Netherlands, introducing our integrations and applications. There is also the possibility of visiting international clients and attending events.
• Developing and executing a sales plan with a focus on achieving your revenue targets and attracting new business clients.
• Optimization of work processes at organizations through the use of the IQ Messenger platform.
• Accurate reporting of your activities in our CRM system.
• Thinking level: You have a higher professional or university (HBO/WO) thinking level and preferably a background in sales within industrial automation, but this is not a requirement.
• Knowledge: You have an affinity with various sectors within the industry, business processes, and software, and know how to effectively apply this knowledge during acquisition.
• Independent: You feel at home in a dynamic, ambitious environment and demonstrate initiative, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
• Social: You have strong communication skills at all levels (board of directors, management, direct colleagues)
• Commercial: You are energetic, analytical, eager to learn, headstrong, and a true ‘hunter’.
• Positive: You see opportunities instead of risks and are always looking for new possibilities.
• Languages: You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
• Creative: You know how to open doors within industry and government and are bursting with fresh ideas to share with them.

Additionally, you live within an hour’s drive of Dordrecht and are in possession of a driver’s license.
