Your mission
We are looking for a Product Support Engineer to provide end-to-end technical support for our AC charger portfolio across the European market. You will support troubleshooting, validation, and solution delivery, ensuring seamless operation of our AC EV charging infrastructure – including our Solar-Storage-Charging (SSC) 1.0/2.0 systems, 11kW/22kW AC chargers.
Responsibilities
- Technical Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve field-reported issues from European customers/partners via our PTS systems.
- On-Site & Remote Support: Provide remote technical support to the customer and field engineers. Conduct local testing, validation in our lab, and on-site troubleshooting (up to 30% travel in Europe). Assist our local service team in Europe to resolve their tickets.
- Product Expertise & Solutions: Deliver technical solutions for AC charging products. Develop troubleshooting guides and knowledge base content.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with R&D, QA, Product Management, and Sales teams to escalate/debug complex issues. Drive alignment between different departments for product improvements.
- Product Validation & Feedback: Execute localized validation tests for firmware/hardware releases. Channel customer feedback to Engineering for product enhancement.
Your profile
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent technical education in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical, Power Electronics, or Mechatronics).
- Experience: 1-3 years as a service/maintenance engineer or in a similar technical support role; preferably within EV charging, power electronics, or IoT products.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of solar, energy storage, charging systems, and V2G technologies is highly desirable. Comfortable with Linux-based systems, log analysis, and testing tools. Hands-on experience in setting up and managing testing environments.
- Operational Excellence: Experience managing ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and SLAs. Experience creating technical documentation.
- Soft Skills: Fluent English (C1) written and spoken; Chinese is a plus. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
