Job summary

VIA Logistics, an international 3PL, seeks a Business Analyst in Venlo to connect customers, operations, and IT, driving process improvements and project delivery. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements and support system changes from planning through go-live.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, Power BI dashboard development, and collaboration across SAP, WMS, Mendix, and nShift in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience in logistics, warehousing, contract logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with SAP, WMS, and/or Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, operational teams, and IT stakeholders.
• Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) required before start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the customer's primary point of contact for improvement initiatives, change requests, and projects, advising stakeholders on priorities and opportunities for optimization.
• Identify improvement opportunities, develop business cases, and translate requirements into clear business and system solutions.
• Coordinate and support customer implementations, system upgrades, and migration projects from planning to go-live.
• Lead testing activities, SIT and UAT, and support training, knowledge transfer, and first-line support.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and contribute to data-driven and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, operations, and IT while building expertise in SAP, WMS, Mendix, Power BI, and nShift.
• Ensure all activities adhere to quality, safety, and food safety standards.

As a 3PL Business Analyst, you operate at the intersection of customer management, operations, and IT. You play a key role in identifying improvement opportunities, coordinating projects, and ensuring that operational and system changes are successfully implemented.

In this position, you act as the customer's primary contact for improvement initiatives and work closely with operational teams, IT specialists, and management. Whether it concerns process improvements, customer implementations, system upgrades, or data-driven reporting, you help translate ideas into practical solutions that support both operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, contract logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and project-based working.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, operational teams, and IT stakeholders.
• Structured, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
• Experience with SAP, WMS, and/or Power BI is an advantage.
• Good command of English; knowledge of German and/or Polish is a plus.
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required before the start of employment.
• A salary of up to €5,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
