Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a driven Business Support Manager for our Bergen op Zoom warehouse. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure operations align with contractual and operational agreements, serving as the essential link between daily activities and logistical processes.

You will safeguard and optimize process flows, develop your team, drive innovations and automation, and report to the Site Manager as a strategic sparring partner while fostering CI and Lean culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics or industrial engineering.
• Experience with (engineering) projects and leading teams.
• Strong English communication; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with LEAN methodologies.
• Ability to optimize processes and drive innovation in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team to support warehouse operations.

Your role as Business Support Manager

In this role, you ensure a seamless and efficient operation that fully aligns with contractual and operational agreements. You are the essential link between daily operations and logistical processes, ensuring that all departments work together as one.

You lead a multidisciplinary team and support the warehouse operation. In addition, you are responsible for managing and implementing customer agreements at the site.

Your focus areas:

• Safeguarding and optimizing process flows within the supply chain.
• Managing and developing your team.
• Monitoring and improving results within your area of responsibility.
• Initiating, guiding, and implementing innovations and automation.
• Reporting to the Site Manager and acting as a strategic sparring partner.
• Responsible for developing and guiding CI and Lean Culture on site.

Your profile

You are a strong conversation partner who maintains an overview, recognizes opportunities, and knows how to connect teams. In addition, you bring:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree (HBO/WO) in logistics or industrial engineering.
• Experience with (engineering) projects and leading teams.
• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is nice to have.
• Experience with LEAN methodologies.
• Resilience, result-driven mindset, and strong prioritization skills.
• Demonstrable experience with process optimization, innovation, and implementation in a logistics environment.
