Job summary

Equals Money is hiring a Workplace IT Support - 1st Line to deliver efficient first-level technical support to end users and maintain business continuity. You will log and triage requests, provide first‑time fixes where possible, and act as the primary IT contact across Slack and ticketing systems.

The role covers onboarding, asset management, and documentation updates, with a focus on ITIL-aligned service practices. A hybrid working arrangement is in place where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 1st Line IT Support or Service Desk role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic networking concepts knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for IT support via Slack and ticketing system.
• Log, classify, prioritise, escalate, optimise, and resolve IT issues in line with SLAs.
• Provide first-time fixes and escalate unresolved issues to higher support.
• Set up IT equipment for new starters and manage asset records.
• Create and update knowledge base articles and support documentation.
