Job summary
A healthcare service provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Remote Physician for its Emergency Call Centre. The candidate will provide essential emergency medical support, respond to emergency calls, and manage medical situations. Requirements include a Medical Degree, registration with the Malaysia Medical Council, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical field, with at least 1 year in Emergency & Trauma. Valid certifications in ACLS and TLS are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Must be registered as a practicing physician with Malaysia Medical Council.
- Minimum of 5 years medical experience and 1 year in Emergency & Trauma Department.
- Possess certifications like ACLS and TLS.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical support during assigned shifts.
- Respond to emergency calls and assess medical situations.
- Prepare and compile medical reports for client submission.
Skills
Education
- Provide emergency medical support during assigned shifts
- Respond to incoming emergency calls and assess medical situations
- Advise on medical management and emergency response actions
- Coordinate with offshore medics and onshore teams
- Dispatch and guide appropriate medical assistance when required
- Liaise with clients on case management and emergency protocols
- Prepare and compile medical reports for client submission
- Medical Degree (University & Year of Graduate)
- Registered as practicing physicians with Malaysia Medical Council (MMC) with Board of Medical Professional with Ministry of Health, Malaysia
- Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) or equivalent practicing license as a Medical Doctor
- Minimum 5 years of medical experience (compulsory)
- Minimum 1 year in Emergency & Trauma Department (compulsory)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) / company provided
- Trauma Life Support (TLS- Advanced Level) / company provided
- Mass Casualty Incident Management (MCIM) / company provided
- Optional: Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) with Malaysia Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)
