Running a dental practice is increasingly complex. We believe dentists shouldn’t have to worry about managing their practice, freeing them to prioritize world-class patient care experiences. Through the Opencare marketplace, dentists connect with new patients, streamline operations, and manage billing, freeing time and energy to help patients understand and improve their oral wellness. Our Design Team’s Vision: Our Designers help people realize that preventive dental care is essential for overall health, positively affecting health now and in the future by showing that going to the dentist can be an amazing experience. The dental industry faces unique design challenges, and our Design team is determined to solve them.

How will you help us get there: As a Product Designer at Opencare, you’ll work closely with our Lead Designer and broader team to design targeted paths that help users find success in our product and increase the number of people who love their dentist. Whether it’s designing landing pages or developing rapid experiments, you’ll focus on engaging users in meaningful ways tailored to their needs.

• Partner cross-functionally to iterate on product opportunities and define product vision and strategy, turning them into delightful experiences for our users
• Pushing the boundaries of your pod’s UI/UX execution and rapidly prototyping solutions that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly, iterating based on results and user feedback
• Leading design critiques, gathering and providing constructive feedback, and making influential design decisions that shape our product
• Ensure all design work is well-documented and accessible for future reference
• Communicating across the entire business to gather feedback while helping other teams improve their design thinking skills

• 3-5 years in a Graphic or Product Design role
• Ability to leverages specific insights to drive design decisions and collaborate with other teams to create rapid experiments and designs
• Strong knowledge of User Interface and User Interaction design
• Proficiency with current design tools (Figma, Adobe, InVision, Abstract)
• Excellent ability to articulate design process and decisions and present cohesive design approaches to non-design audiences
• Ability to run multiple projects autonomously and deliver against business needs

• Open to constructive conversations to refine ideas and grow in craft
• Understanding that not everything needs to be “pixel-perfect” if it achieves its goal
• Tenacity to push for innovation and drive change at scale
• Experience designing mobile apps with strong UX
