Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technician or in a similar role within a wastewater treatment facility.
- Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the proper functioning of all equipment in the wastewater treatment plant.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant systems.
- Respond to and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions.

Koa Denko (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Technician to join our team at our waste water plant located in Batu Berendam Melaka. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our water treatment facilities.
Monitoring and maintaining the proper functioning of all equipment and machinery in the waste water treatment plant
Performing routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on plant systems and equipment
Responding to and troubleshooting any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns
Maintaining detailed records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance
Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
Ensuring that all plant activities adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Minimum 1 years of experience as a Technician or in a similar role within a water/wastewater treatment facility
Strong technical skills and hands‑on experience with the maintenance and repair of waste water treatment equipment
Familiarity with water treatment processes, water quality parameters, and regulatory requirements
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the engineering and operations teams
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
