The Role

Reporting to the APAC Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be supporting the APAC Finance Team in activities including (but not limited to); assisting with daily accounting tasks, preparing journal entries, supporting month end reporting and maintaining accurate financial records

What you will do

  • Daily receipting of bank transactions and ensuring complete and accurate allocations.
  • Assist in the monthly reporting requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process of purchase invoices through the purchase ordering (PO) system to ensure that invoices are coded and processed correctly and paid on a timely basis
  • Other ad hoc financing tasks, e.g. set up of new vendor and customers into the accounting system.
  • Ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial data in the accounting system.
  • Liaise with broader finance team on cross region recharges.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to finance operations processes and procedures.
  • Trainee/Part-qualified accountant with a good knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Skills or Experience in using Microsoft Business Central is preferred.
  • Someone who is confident and self-motivated with a true passion for this type of role.
  • The ability to autonomously plan your workload and focus on the right priorities
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve any queries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer literacy skills – particularly Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • A highly motivated individual, that brings energy and confidence, that is target driven and able to work as part of a team
  • You will be able to demonstrate a positive, engaging, hard-working approach and exhibit the company values
