Job summary

Maruwa (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Melaka is seeking a Yield Engineer to optimise manufacturing processes and drive continual improvements for productivity and efficiency. This full-time role is based in Melaka, requiring hands-on process engineering expertise to deliver top-quality results for the organisation.

You will analyse production data to identify optimisation opportunities, design implementations to increase throughput and reduce waste, and support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a process/ yield engineering role in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven improvements.
• Familiarity with process control systems, SPC, and lean manufacturing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with teamwork ability.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production data to identify opportunities for process optimisation and yield improvement.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance quality, throughput and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process control systems and ensure quality standards.
• Provide technical support to production teams and report on performance.
• Document bottlenecks and stay updated with industry trends to propose innovations.
