Job summary

Maruwa (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Yield Engineer based in Melaka to optimise manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement. You will analyse production data and implement process improvements to boost product quality and throughput.

The role requires a degree in Process or Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A collaborative, data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a process/yield engineering role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach.
• Familiarity with process control systems, SPC, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production data to identify opportunities for process optimisation and yield improvement
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, increase throughput, and minimise waste
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain process control systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
• Document and report on process performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions
