Job summary

Sandisk in Penang, Batu Kawan, Malaysia seeks an experienced Production/Process Engineer to lead excursion management and drive continuous improvement in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. You will oversee yield, perform cross-functional commonality analyses, and apply DOEs and statistical methods to solve complex production challenges.

You will set up and optimize assembly processes, particularly die attach equipment, manage excursions and abnormal cases, and contribute to cost reduction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related field).
• 5-7 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or a high-volume production environment and Excursion Management.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and process simulation software.
• Strong decision-making capability based on data and technical judgment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead excursion management and ensure closure with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee yield management for assembly and test processes to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to perform commonality analysis by product design, process, machine, material, and measurement.
• Conduct DOEs and apply statistical analysis methods to solve complex problems.
• Set up and continuously improve assembly processes, specifically focusing on die Attach equipment.
• Manage production line excursions and abnormal cases, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
