Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Yield Management Technician to join the technical operations team. Based in Melaka, you will monitor production yield, assist in issue investigations, and support process improvements in a dynamic semiconductor environment.

You will collect data, review it with templates, and help perform root-cause analysis with engineers. Strong data extraction, analysis mindset, and willingness to work a 12-hour shift are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Higher Diploma in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Material Science).
• Graduates from GMI, MFI, JMTI, or equivalent technical institutions are strongly encouraged to apply!
• Basic data extraction skills, familiarity with analysis tools/templates, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Experience or exposure to semiconductor manufacturing (Frontend/Backend) is an added advantage.
• Comfortable working on a 12-hour shift structure.

• Line Support & Investigation: Assist engineers in executing hands-on tests during production line issues and compile data for root-cause analysis.
• Variability Reduction: Execute line-stability tasks to support Defense Line enhancements under engineer guidance.
• Documentation: Keep detailed logs of data and prepare clear documentation for ongoing project milestones.
