Job summary

Argnworks Industries Services in Kuala Lumpur City Centre is seeking a Workshop Assistant to support our workshop operations. This hands-on role involves assisting tradespeople, preparing tools, handling materials, and maintaining a tidy, safe work area.

You will follow instructions, perform general labour, and help with loading, unloading, and simple equipment repair under supervision. A willingness to learn, reliability, and good teamwork are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical skills in a workshop.
• Strong attention to safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Reliability, punctuality and good work ethic.
• Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Valid driving license desirable but not essential.
• Previous workshop/labour/trades experience advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for working with tools and equipment.
• Good communication and positive attitude toward health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople with workshop tasks and projects.
• Preparing and maintaining tools, equipment and work areas.
• Carrying out manual tasks including handling, moving and storing materials.
• Supporting assembly, disassembly and repair of equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
• Operating basic workshop equipment under supervision.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting inventory management and stock level alerts.
• Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles and materials.
• Performing general labour duties to support operations.
