Job summary

Swarovski Malaysia seeks a Workday Functional Developer to translate business needs into functional Workday configurations, collaborate with HR and stakeholders, and lead project work plans. You will implement new solutions and maintain data quality across the system.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant Workday experience, strong English, and hands-on knowledge of at least two Workday modules (Talent & Performance preferred). Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar Workday-related role.
• Excellent command in English (proficiency).
• Extensive hands-on experience with Workday across functional areas, with at least 2 modules (Talent & Performance preferred).
• Experience with HRIS aspects of HR processes such as performance review, merit cycle, onboarding or benefits.
• Analytical ability to review data and identify relationships; strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong listening skills.
• Team player with strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships across levels and explain to non-technical colleagues.
• Experience partnering with diverse, globally dispersed stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Research new Workday enhancements and education opportunities via Workday Community.
• Translate business needs into functional Workday requirements.
• Configure Workday, implement new or improved solutions, and coordinate related project activities.
• Document changes and update training manuals and documentation.
• Maintain data quality and integrity for the assigned area.
• Partner with stakeholders to map processes and optimize implementations.
• Advise and train HR Specialists, HR Operations and Managers on Workday use.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align the Workday Adoption Roadmap with business needs.

About The Job

• Research new enhancements and education opportunities on a regular basis through Workday Community
• Responsible for translating business needs into functional requirements
• Responsible for Workday configurations, implement new or improved solutions and coordinate and lead activities related to project work plans
• Responsible for document changes accordingly and updating the respective training manuals and relevant documentation
• Responsible for maintaining data quality and integrity for the assigned area
• Partner with stakeholders to map out business processes and find the best way of implementing and optimizing these through Workday
• Advise and train HR Specialists, HR Operations and Managers on using Workday and sharing best practices
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and HR Operations in order to ensure alignment of the Workday Feature Adoption Roadmap for the assigned area with the business need

About You

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent command in English (proficiency)
• Extensive hands on experience with Workday ideally across all functional areas with in-depth knowledge for at least 2 modules preferably in Talent & Performance Module (Workday Certified preferred)
• Experience of the HRIS aspects of HR Processes such as performance review, merit cycle, onboarding processes or benefits
• Analytical ability to review data and see relationships and possesses strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong listener
• A team player with excellent organizational, prioritization, project and time management skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment which is undergoing transformational change
• Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization and speak in a way that other less technical colleagues can understand
• Experience supporting and partnering with diverse and globally dispersed stakeholders and team members
