Job summary

YouTutor Sdn Bhd is seeking a Customer Service Assistant in Malaysia to support students and parents via WhatsApp. You will handle inquiries, assist with registrations and payments, and coordinate with teachers to resolve issues.

The role requires Mandarin proficiency, basic English, and strong communication skills. The position emphasizes accuracy, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team to meet enrolment targets and keep records

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and Mandarin native speaker.
• Able to communicate and type in Chinese.
• Basic English communication and reading ability.
• Familiar with WhatsApp and basic computer operations.
• Able to use Google Sheets / Google Docs.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized.
• Proactive in solving problems without reminders.
• Able to work independently and possess teamwork spirit.
• Experience in Customer Service, Sales, Admin, or Education industry is preferred.
• No relevant experience required; company will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Reply to student and parent course inquiries via WhatsApp.
• Answer questions about course timings, fees, registration, and class arrangements.
• Follow up on student and parent inquiries to ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Handle daily customer service and after-class support for existing students.
• Maintain professional, polite, and friendly communication.
• Assist new students in completing registration and payment processes.
• Follow up with interested students or parents who have not yet registered.
• Follow up on course renewals, course transfers, and other registration matters.
• Update student registration and payment records.
• Ensure student information is accurate.
• Recommend suitable courses based on student grade and learning needs.
• Introduce other suitable YouTutor courses to existing students.
• Assist in promoting Revision Class, Recording Class, and other courses.
• Meet monthly enrolment and customer service targets.
• Update Google Sheets, student lists, and related records.
• Organize course materials, student information, and customer service records.
• Coordinate with teachers and internal teams on student-related matters.
• Complete other related tasks assigned by supervisor.
