Job summary

ResMed (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator to join its operations team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role focuses on Recover at work, injury management, and wellbeing initiatives, providing expert guidance to the business and injured workers.

The candidate should hold a Nursing diploma/degree with APC and have at least 2 years in a regulated manufacturing environment; the role requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and autonomous work capability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Nursing registered with the Ministry of Health or APC from Nursing Board or Medical Assistant Board, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Safety Science or related discipline.
• At least 2 years’ experience in highly regulated industries or manufacturing.
• Looking to grow as a health and safety professional.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Recover at work Program.
• Educate the business and inform injured workers on Recover at work processes and insurance benefits.
• Handle incidents: manage SOCSO records and prepare monthly safety and health reports; process occupational injury and disease claims.
• Serve as primary contact for injured workers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and monitor treatment and rehabilitation; develop Return-to-Work plans with medical professionals.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and structured support for employees on medical leaves; track progress and support recovery.
• Support strategies that facilitate injury and claim management across duty of care and workers’ compensation.
• Maintain confidential records in line with laws and guidelines.
• Assist Workplace Safety Committee meetings and promote health and wellbeing activities.
• Coordinate site ergonomics reviews and upkeep the Occupational Dictionary for the Malaysia Site.
• Oversee First Aid Room, items, and on-site First Aiders; assist in trainings for First Aiders.
• Support People team with local EAP; track Sleep 4a Health Life Program participants.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
