Job summary

Adient Automotive (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a welding operator to perform welding on automotive metal parts while ensuring quality, safety and daily production targets are met. The role involves operating welding machines, inspecting welds and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The successful candidate will have at least a SPM/SKM certificate, basic welding skills, and be willing to work shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or SKM certificate or equivalent.
• Basic welding knowledge and skills.
• Ability to read simple work instructions and drawings.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines and equipment according to work instructions.
• Weld metal components and assemblies for automotive products.
• Check welded parts for defects and quality issues.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Meet daily production targets.
• Keep the work area clean and organized (5S).
