Job summary

UHP Gas-Sys Technology Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Welding Engineer with AWS CWI to oversee welding processes, ensure compliance with codes, and support quality, inspection, and continuous improvement across fabrication operations.

Responsibilities include developing WPS/PQR/WQT, selecting processes, supervising welding activities, conducting WQT, maintaining records, and performing visual inspections; coordinating with customers and certification bodies as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Welding, or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in welding engineering or fabrication.
• AWS CWI certification required.
• Experience in GTAW/TIG and stainless-steel fabrication preferred.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical, Welding, or a related Engineering discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant welding engineering or fabrication experience.

Certification of AWS CWI is required for this role.

Experience in orbital welding (GTAW/TIG) and stainless-steel fabrication is preferred.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications.

Understanding of welding inspection and NDT requirements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
