Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia is seeking a welding engineer to drive welding process qualification, quality improvement, and troubleshooting in manufacturing. You will support TIG and orbital welding, review specs, and ensure compliance with welding codes to achieve product quality and operational excellence.

Responsible for welding process qualification, quality improvement, technical troubleshooting, and manufacturing support activities. Ensure welding operations comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and company procedures while driving product quality and operational excellence.
Responsible for welding process qualification, quality improvement, technical troubleshooting, and manufacturing support activities. Ensure welding operations comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and company procedures while driving product quality and operational excellence.
Manage welding procedure and welder qualification activities.
Review welding procedures, technical specifications, and drawings.
Support TIG and Orbital welding processes in production.
Monitor weld quality and investigate welding-related issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable welding codes and standards.
Provide technical support to production, suppliers, and customers.
Develop and maintain welding documentation and procedures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and productivity.
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, quality, or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of TIG and/or Orbital Welding.
Familiar with ASME, AWS, ASTM, API, or related welding standards.
CSWIP or AWS-CWI certification is an advantage.
Experience in semiconductor, fabrication, manufacturing, or oil & gas industries is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and SolidWorks.
