Job summary

Maxcode is seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team in Penang. The successful candidate will perform welding and fabrication in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include welding with MIG, TIG or ARC processes, reading drawings, cutting, grinding, fitting and assembly, and ensuring weld quality. Reading symbols and measurements is essential, along with safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of welding or metal fabrication experience.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and ARC welding processes.
• Experience welding mild and stainless steel is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Able to use measuring instruments and fabrication tools.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, disciplined and willing to learn.
• Able to work overtime when required.
