Spritzer BHD, Malaysia’s leading bottled water producer, is seeking an Automation Technician to join our manufacturing team in Taiping. You will be hands-on with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives and electrical control systems to keep production running smoothly.

You will diagnose faults, analyze root causes, read schematics, support maintenance, and collaborate with engineering to upgrade and improve automation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, automation, or automated production equipment is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong electronics or automation exposure are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, or industrial control systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical schematics.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in an automation-focused environment.
• Exposure to real-world industrial automation systems in a leading Malaysian manufacturer.
• Hands-on learning and development with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives and production control systems.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and rectify PLC, HMI, sensor, drive, electrical, electronic, and automation system faults.
• Diagnose machine breakdowns and recurring equipment issues through systematic root cause analysis.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Assist in machine upgrades, modifications, automation improvement projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain industrial automation components such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and control systems.
• Work with vendors and contractors during troubleshooting, maintenance, and project implementation activities.
• Maintain technical records, troubleshooting reports, and equipment documentation.
• Contribute to a safer, smarter, and more efficient manufacturing environment by ensuring automation systems remain stable, reliable, and capable of supporting production requirements.

When these automation systems stop, production stops. When production stops, warehouse operations, order fulfilment, and deliveries are delayed.

That is why we are looking for an Automation Technician who can do more than simply replace components or reset alarms. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, technically hands-on, and driven to understand the root cause behind equipment failures.

The ideal candidate should be:

ii) Have in-depth knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience on electronic circuit boards

iii) Has experience working with high-tech production equipment in fast-paced manufacturing environment

How You'll Make an Impact

Working alongside production, and engineering teams, you'll:

Troubleshoot and rectify PLC, HMI, sensor, drive, electrical, electronic, and automation system faults.

What We're Looking For

Diploma in Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related fields.

Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or automated production equipment is an advantage.

Fresh graduates with strong electronics or automation exposure are encouraged to apply.
