Job summary

Ecolab International Sdn Bhd in Selangor seeks a Business Development Manager for Nalco Water who will drive sales strategies, grow revenue and expand market share in the local territory with travel required.

You’ll identify new opportunities, support customers with technical and commercial solutions, and build relationships with plant and facility executives to deliver value across water treatment and process challenges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of technical sales or field sales experience
• Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industries
• Strong knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, paper machine operations, wet-end chemistry, or pulp mill operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to grow revenue, profitability and market share within the assigned territory.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing strategic accounts.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers, understanding their operational challenges and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Manage a significant portion of the assigned district portfolio and drive customer retention and growth.
• Build strong relationships with plant/facility executives, technical stakeholders and key decision-makers.
• Conduct system analysis, interpret operational data and provide recommendations to improve customer performance.
• Actively promote Nalco Water technologies, innovations and solutions to assigned customers.
• Lead customer and prospect seminars, meetings and technical discussions to demonstrate market and technical expertise.
• Develop customer visit plans, sales forecasts and territory strategies.
• Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and cost optimization.
• Support and mentor other District Representatives while contributing to team capability development.
• Help stabilize and grow business within large and strategic customer accounts.
