PG Lean Hwa Trading Sdn Bhd in Seberang Perai Selatan, Valdor industrial area, seeks a hands-on Plant Operator to oversee the operation, handling, and maintenance of all wastewater treatment plant machinery to ensure continuous, safe, and compliant performance.

You will troubleshoot operational issues, monitor process performance, keep accurate records, and ensure adherence to SOPs and environmental regulations.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of related working experience in a manufacturing company.
• Valid CePIETSO / CePSEaM certification issued or recognised by the Environmental Institute of Malaysia (EiMAS).
• Hands-on experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of wastewater quality monitoring, environmental compliance and DOE/JAS requirements is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to resolve wastewater treatment plant problems.
• Ensure all work activities and SOPs comply with established procedures and environmental regulations.
• Monitor the performance of the wastewater treatment system and ensure efficient operation of treatment processes.
• Maintain proper operational records and report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities to the supervisor.

To ensure the proper operation, handling, and maintenance of all machinery, equipment, and instruments to ensure the smooth operation of the wastewater treatment plant.

Key responsibilities

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve wastewater treatment plant problems

Ensure that all work activities and operating procedures are carried out in accordance with established SOPs and applicable environmental regulations

Monitor the performance of the wastewater treatment system and ensure that treatment processes operate efficiently

Maintain proper operational records and report any equipment malfunctions or operational abnormalities to the relevant supervisor

About you

Minimum 2 years of related working experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in industrial wastewater treatment or Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) operations

Must possess a valid CePIETSO / CePSEaM certification issued or recognised by the Environmental Institute of Malaysia (EiMAS), as applicable to the factory's wastewater treatment system

Good attitude, responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision

Hands-on experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is an added advantage

Knowledge of wastewater quality monitoring, environmental compliance and relevant Department of Environment (DOE/JAS) requirements is preferred
