Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Career Wise Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) operator for our Kedah location. The role involves ensuring stable plant operation by performing maintenance, running equipment, and addressing faults promptly, while adhering to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has an engineering-related qualification with at least 3 years of IETS experience, plus CePIETSO-PCP or CePIETSO-BP certification.

Qualifications

• Engineering-related qualification required, with minimum SPM or Diploma.
• At least 3 years' experience operating an Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).
• Must hold CePIETSO-PCP or CePIETSO-BP certification; both is an advantage.
• Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for 5S management in the assigned working area.
• Perform maintenance according to equipment maintenance plans; operate equipment and promptly resolve faults and safety hazards.
• Familiar with wastewater treatment processes and parameters; perform laboratory testing and record water quality data.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections, maintain records, and report abnormalities promptly.
• Assist in improving operation procedures, OPLs, and work instructions; manage and archive technical documentation.
• Comply with company policies and laboratory regulations.
• Assist in preparing material plans, spare parts planning, and maintenance/overhaul schedules.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job description

Perform maintenance according to equipment maintenance plans; operate equipment and promptly resolve operational faults and safety hazards to ensure stable operation.

Familiar with wastewater treatment processes and parameters; perform laboratory testing and analysis, accurately record water quality data, and report abnormal results to the supervisor.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment according to inspection procedures, maintain inspection records, and report abnormalities promptly.

Assist in improving equipment operation procedures, OPL, and work instructions; manage and archive technical documentation.

Comply strictly with company policies and laboratory regulations.

Assist in preparing material plans, spare parts planning, and maintenance/overhaul schedules.

Perform other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

What we're looking for

Candidates must possess an engineering-related qualification, with a minimum qualification of SPM or a Diploma.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in operating an Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).

Candidates must hold either a CePIETSO-PCP or CePIETSO-BP certification. Possession of both certifications will be considered an added advantage.

Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule.
