Qualifications

• Experience operating an Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations and wastewater requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).
• Ensure wastewater operations comply with DOE/JAS requirements.
• Monitor influent and effluent wastewater parameters.
• Maintain daily records, logbooks and wastewater treatment reports.
• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment.
• Monitor chemical dosing and treatment processes.
• Coordinate wastewater sampling and laboratory analysis.
• Ensure proper operation of pumps, tanks, aeration system and related equipment.
• Liaise with DOE/JAS and external laboratories when required.
• Report abnormal wastewater conditions and take corrective action.
