Job summary

KMWE Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to join its Penang manufacturing team. You will generate daily and weekly production schedules, manage warehouse operations, and coordinate logistics for safe, on-time dispatch to customers.

The role requires a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field, 3–5 years in production planning and scheduling, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle). Forklift certification is a plus; a can-do attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on in production planning, scheduling, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment (semiconductor or precision engineering preferred).
• Good knowledge in ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle, etc.) to drive production planning and capacity management will be an added advantage.
• Good in math.
• Plan operation optimization and follow planning (ERP system).
• Willing to work as per production schedule.
• Forklift license/certification is an added advantage but not compulsory.

Job Responsibility

Receive incoming parts, quantity checks on delivery orders, store materials securely as cleanroom production planning.

Manage the inventory of finished, UHV-packaged goods and coordinate logistics for safe, on-time dispatch to the customer.

Have knowledge on Custom requirement for outgoing materials.

Generate daily/weekly production schedules by calculating routing steps and standard cycle times for precision cleaning, etc. using ERP system.

Ensure proper product packaging and labelling for shipment.

Track every component from receiving to shipment, and ensure correct system record.

Work closely with production teams to review the schedule, and adjust for equipment downtime.

Maintain accurate production schedules and ensure 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) to customers.

Maintain a clean work area and storage system (5S practices)

Support any tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements
