Job summary

We value hands-on experience in ASRS, conveyors, and gearboxes, with emphasis on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safe, compliant operations on site in Johor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting of ASRS and industrial automation systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repair work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical parts of ASRS equipment such as conveyors, lifts, shuttles, chains, gearboxes, and drives.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal mechanical performance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and execute timely corrective actions.
• Assist in mechanical installations, alignment, and system adjustments.
• Maintain proper lubrication schedules and records for mechanical systems.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with mechanical safety standards.

Job description

• Maintain and repair mechanical parts of ASRS equipment such as conveyors, lifts, shuttles, chains, gearboxes, and drives.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal mechanical performance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and execute timely corrective actions.
• Assist in mechanical installations, alignment, and system adjustments.
• Maintain proper lubrication schedules and records for mechanical systems.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with mechanical safety standards.

Key knowledge / Job Specific Competencies / Experience(s)

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse automation systems, ASRS, or industrial automation.
• Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair work.
• Prior experience in ASRS systems such as SSI Schäfer, Dematic, Daifuku, or similar.
• Certification in electrical safety or mechanical maintenance is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

• Electrical: Basic knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, wiring, and control panels.
• Mechanical: Proficiency in working with conveyors, gearboxes, mechanical alignment, and basic hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
