Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials and finished goods, and support production and delivery objectives.

You will manage inward and outward inventory movements, maintain proper labeling and documentation, operate forklift safely, and help maintain a clean, organized stores area.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification is required.
• Minimum 2 years related working experience in a manufacturing environment with warehouse operations.
• Must have a driving licence and forklift driving experience/license.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials and finished goods.

You will play a critical role in supporting production, supply chain, and customer delivery objectives while ensuring warehouse operations are executed safely and efficiently.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for the execution of the inward and outward movement of inventories.
• Assist to ensure the raw materials and finished products are stored in an orderly manner and readily identifiable in accordance with the Company's established procedures.
• Assist to ensure proper security covering the handling and storage of inventories.
• Assist to ensure the receipts and issuance of inventories are correct and properly documented.Assist to ensure all inventory movements are approved and properly recorded in the inventory records.
• Assists the Planning & Materials Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator/Executive in the carrying out the physical verification of inventories and reconciliation of any physical inventory discrepancies.
• Assists in general maintenance and cleaning of the stores.
• Also acts as forklift operator. Including but not limited to performing of operations and safety check on equipment prior to signing it out, including battery, brakes & lift controls.
• Ensure the forklift is used safely in the store and production areas to pull, load, and move raw materials and finished products.
• Prepares daily report of finished goods and empty drums for Operations Director's report.
• Inspects finished products against shipping checklist before shipment/delivery to customers.
• Assist to ensure the correct and appropriate labeling requirement for all deliveries.
• Assist to ensure export containers are properly loaded and labeled (where required) before releasing to transporter/forwarder.
• Perform all other tasks as per assigned
