Job summary

Nufarm Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise floor staff, and ensure orders are prepared and shipped safely and on time.

You will coordinate import/export container movements, uphold 5S standards, manage DG documentation, and maintain accurate stock checks in a dynamic agricultural supply setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on warehouse experience.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• License to operate a forklift and forklift safety knowledge.
• Basic data entry and record maintenance skills.
• Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all import/export container activities.
• Inspect incoming containers; verify addresses and shipping documents; plan stock placement.
• Inspect empty containers prior to export loading; ensure they are clean and dry.
• Verify container numbers, seal numbers, labels, packaging, and pallets.
• Supervise floor workers during loading/unloading for safety and efficiency.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for anomalies or non-conformities.
• Ensure received goods are put away in designated locations.
• Prepare Container Packing Certificates (CPC) for DG shipments and related docs.
• Maintain organized import/export records and documentation.
• Coordinate with logistics partners; provide cubic meter details for LCL shipments to Sabah/Sarawak.

Job description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily warehouse operations, supervising floor staff, and ensuring customer orders are prepared and shipped out safely, correctly, and strictly on time. You will play a vital role in coordinating import and export container movements, upholding 5S workplace standards, managing Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation, and ensuring accurate stock checks.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all company import and export container activities

Inspect incoming container conditions, verify delivery addresses and shipping documents, and plan placement for incoming stock

Inspect empty containers prior to export loading to ensure they are clean, dry, undamaged, and suitable for loading

Verify container numbers, seal numbers, labels, packaging, and pallet conditions prior to loading and dispatch

Supervise floor workers during all loading and unloading activities to ensure cargo is handled safely and efficiently

Report and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any abnormalities or non-conformities identified during receiving

Ensure all received goods are put away in correct, designated locations

Prepare Container Packing Certificates (CPC) for Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments and prepare required shipping documentation for empty and export containers

Maintain comprehensive, properly organized import and export operational records

Coordinate with logistics and shipping partners, providing M³ (cubic meter) details for Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments to Sabah and Sarawak

About you

At least 2 years of hands-on experience working in a warehouse environment

Computer literacy (basic data entry and record maintenance)

Proficiency in reading and writing in English

Knowledge of shipping, import/export, and Dangerous Goods (DG) requirements

Ability and license to operate a forklift

Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills to manage daily supply issues alongside operations and planners
