Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group, partnering with an organisation in the Industrial sector, is hiring a Warehouse Operator based in Port Klang, Malaysia. You will support daily warehouse activities including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing and order preparation.

The role focuses on inventory accuracy, timely customer order fulfilment, safe housekeeping, and using IT systems to document stock movements and prepare packing lists and invoices.

Qualifications

• Experience of end to end process within warehouse operations.
• Work experience in PKFZ (desirable).
• Fork Lift License.
• Understanding of shipping modes and requirements.
• Exposure to fire drill, emergency response and safe warehouse equipment operations.
• IT skills and computer literate (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all inward stock movements, processing timely and accurate receipts from Suppliers
• Accurately undertake and process all outbound stock transactions as required for the recipient, following company procedures, and using IT systems where appropriate.
• Induct, replenish, pick and pack goods in an efficient, timely and safe manner.
• Actively maintain and improve housekeeping throughout working hours ensuring that stored goods are kept tidily and in the correct place in accordance with company procedures.
• Support with regular stock take activity, ensuring inventory accuracy and reducing operational waste.
• Support where required to the production of essential transit accompanying documentation, using business systems to produce essential documentation including packing lists and commercial invoices.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements within operational processes including appropriately presenting, packaging, marking and segregating of outbound orders as required for distribution by road, air and sea freight.
• Ensure that with all aspects of Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with in all daily activities.

This role is responsible for providing daily operational support across warehouse activities, including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, and order preparation.
