Job summary

Wah Seng (1986) Sdn Bhd in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking reliable Warehouse Operators to join our team. This hands-on role covers order picking, receiving goods, stock handling and WMS scanning, with training available for suitable candidates.

You'll work in a fast-paced distribution environment, handle physical duties, and cooperate with colleagues to maintain accurate inventory and safe operations. Prior warehouse experience is an advantage, but we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operators to join our warehouse operations team.

This is a hands-on warehouse role involving order picking, receiving incoming goods, stock handling and WMS scanning. Candidates with previous warehouse experience are preferred, but training can be provided for suitable candidates.

Main Responsibilities

Picking & Outbound

• Pick goods accurately according to customer orders using our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Scan products and locations using handheld devices
• Check product quantity, batch and expiry dates during picking
• Arrange picked goods correctly for checking and delivery
• Maintain good picking accuracy and productivity
• Receive and unload incoming goods from suppliers
• Check incoming quantity and condition against delivery documents
• Scan and put away stock into the correct warehouse locations using WMS
• Assist with stock rotation and proper warehouse organisation
• Report damaged, short or incorrect stock immediately

General Warehouse Operations

• Assist with stock counts and inventory checking
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the warehouse
• Handle goods carefully to prevent product damage
• Follow warehouse SOPs and supervisor instructions
• Assist other warehouse operations when required

Requirements

• Comfortable using a smartphone, handheld scanner or WMS system
• Physically able to perform warehouse duties including picking and moving cartons
• Responsible, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
• Good attitude towards attendance and work discipline
• Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution or inventory experience is an advantage

Additional advantage if you:

• Have experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Have picking / inbound / receiving experience
• Can operate a forklift, reach truck or other material handling equipment
• Hold a valid forklift competency/certificate
• Have experience working in an FMCG or high-volume distribution warehouse
