Job summary

Senang Hijau Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution, ensuring SOP compliance and peak warehouse efficiency. You will lead a team to address day-to-day issues and optimize workflows.

The role requires 4+ years in warehouse operations, proficiency in Excel and Word, and a readiness to travel to PJ HQ. Knowledge of KPIs and inventory controls is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in warehouse operations for 4+ years.
• Knowledge of warehousing KPIs is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Willing to travel to HQ at Kelana Business Centre, PJ (travel allowance provided).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing, managing and ensuring receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations are in place and comply with policies and SOPs.
• Answer inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation.
• Ensure warehouse operates at peak efficiency.
• Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day issues and reach performance goals.
• Review and prepare workflows, space allocations, and action plans meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures.
• Improve service level, speed of work and cost effectiveness of inventory management and warehousing operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.

• Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters.
• To ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency.
• Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Review and prepare workflows, space allocations, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity and quality.
• Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Continuously improve the service level, speed of work and cost effectiveness of inventory management, warehousing, incoming and outgoing operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
• Ensure safety and security measures conform to requirement.
• Review existing production policies and standards and identify the scope of growth.
• Produce timely reports and documentation to track production progress.

Job Requirements :

• Experience in warehouse operations for more than 4 years.
• Knowledge of warehousing KPIs are added advantages.
