Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. You will manage receiving, storage, and distribution while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency across the warehouse.

The role requires hands-on leadership for a team of 40+ workers, optimization of space, and implementation of process improvements. Proficiency in WMS and SAP, with MS Excel and Power BI being advantageous, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• Experience in FMCG industry preferred.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management system (WMS).
• Leadership skills to manage 40+ workers.
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to train warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock and reconcile with WMS and SAP.
• Liaise with suppliers for vehicle maintenance and transport companies.
• Plan delivery works and assign tasks appropriately.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
• Ensure fleet and MHE upkeep and maintenance.
• Maintain temperature-controlled storage as required.
• Recruit, coach and motivate employees.
• Produce statistics reports (e.g., picking, packing, delivery performance); Excel/Power BI is advantageous.
• Attend to feedback and complaints regarding packing and delivery matters.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations

Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

Adhere to all warehousing, transportation and safety legislation requirements

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

Managing stock and reconcile with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and SAP

Liaise with suppliers for vehicle maintenance and transport companies

Conduct performance evaluation for external transport companies

Plan delivery works and assign tasks appropriately

Ensure warehouse cleanliness and tidiness are maintain all the times

Ensure company’s fleet and MHE are upkeep and maintain regularly

Ensure temperature-controlled storage area are maintained as per requirement

Recruit, coaching and motivate employees

Produce statistics reports (Eg: Picking, packing, delivery performance etc). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is a strong advantage.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
