Job summary

OUS Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Inventory Manager to lead the warehouse and inventory functions, driving operational excellence, productivity, digitization, and cost control across mining operations.

You will balance hands-on leadership with strategic transformation, implement WMS/ERP and predictive analytics, manage stock levels and P&L, and develop a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or supply chain management with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Mining, heavy industry, or industrial environments experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse and inventory operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
• Drive productivity improvements through process optimization, automation and digitization initiatives.
• Oversee receiving, storage, issuance and dispatch with accuracy and timeliness; manage stock levels and working capital.
• Develop predictive models and reporting to forecast stock losses and shortages; collaborate with Procurement, Finance and Operations.
• Implement advanced WMS/ERP systems and digital tools for real-time tracking and analytics.
• Control warehouse and inventory P&L, including budgeting and variance analysis; identify cost-saving opportunities.

As Warehouse & Inventory Manager, you will lead the warehouse and inventory function with full accountability for operational excellence, productivity, digitization, and cost control. You will drive change initiatives, ensure accurate and timely delivery, and oversee P&L performance for warehouse operations. This role requires a strategic leader who can balance hands-on management with long-term transformation, while proactively predicting risks and ensuring sufficient stock to support mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Change Management

• Lead warehouse and inventory operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Drive productivity improvements through process optimization, automation, and digitization initiatives.
• Champion continuous improvement and change management to enhance operational performance.

Operational Excellence & Risk Prediction

• Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials and spare parts with strict accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure optimal stock availability while controlling inventory levels, stock value, and working capital.
• Develop predictive models and reporting to forecast potential stock losses and shortages.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to ensure sufficient stock levels to support mining operations.
• Implement advanced WMS/ERP systems and digital tools for real-time tracking, reporting, and predictive analytics.
• Control warehouse and inventory-related P&L, including cost tracking, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains to improve profitability.
• Prepare and present management reports on stock costing, valuation, ageing, and operational KPIs.
