Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations: receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials, parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Maintenance, Production and other departments to ensure material availability.
• Conduct regular stock counts and physical Inventory checks.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment requests as needed.
• Ensure incoming materials are inspected, recorded, labelled, and stored.
• Control issuance of spare parts, tools, PPE, and other site materials.
• Maintain documentation for all warehouse transactions.
• Ensure materials are stored safely according to site requirements.
• Monitor slow-moving, damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring all warehouse activities are conducted safely and efficiently.

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are properly monitored.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Maintenance, Production, and other departments to ensure materials are available when required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory checks.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and prepare replenishment requests when necessary.
• Ensure all incoming materials are properly inspected, recorded, labelled, and stored.
• Control the issuance of spare parts, tools, PPE, and other site materials.

• Ensure materials are stored safely and appropriately according to site requirements.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse or inventory management experience, preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industry.
• Experience managing warehouse staff and site-based operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse procedures.
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Excel.
• Good organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
