Job summary

Aurightec Malaysia seeks a seasoned warehouse and logistics supervisor to oversee daily operations, inventory control, and timely material supply at Kulim, Kedah.

This role coordinates import/export, works with Production Planning and Purchasing, and leads a team to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining compliance. Strong English and Mandarin communication, ERP/WMS/MES proficiency, and EMS background are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• 4+ years in logistics/warehouse/supply chain with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• EMS industry experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of import/export, Malaysian Customs, and LMW compliance is a plus.
• Experience with ERP/WMS/MES and related systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to coordinate across functions.
• Fluent English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and movements.
• Coordinate import/export, local and international shipments; ensure customs clearance and accurate documentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts, FIFO/FEFO, and traceability.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Purchasing, and Production for material issuance and kitting.
• Monitor shortages, discrepancies, and delays; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Customs and LMW; manage audit readiness.
• Track KPIs, freight costs, inventory performance, and identify improvements.
• Lead and develop warehouse and logistics staff.
• Ensure safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers for smooth logistics.

Will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, logistics activities, inventory control, production material supply, and import/export coordination to ensure efficient and compliant operations. This position plays a key role in supporting production continuity, inventory accuracy, and on-time customer deliveries at our Kulim, Kedah facility

Position Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and material movements.
• Coordinate import, export, local deliveries, and international shipments while ensuring timely customs clearance and accurate shipping documentation.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO practices, and proper material traceability.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure timely material issuance and kitting activities based on production schedules.
• Monitor material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and shipment delays while implementing corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Customs and Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) requirements, including import/export documentation and audit readiness.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs, freight costs, inventory performance, and operational efficiency while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop warehouse and logistics personnel through daily work planning, coaching, performance monitoring, and operational support.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining warehouse housekeeping and safe material handling practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to support smooth logistics operations and customer satisfaction.

Position Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, or manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry is highly preferred.
• Practical knowledge of import/export processes, Malaysian Customs regulations, and Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) compliance is an advantage.
• Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, production kitting, and international logistics activities.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP, WMS, MES, or similar warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, VBA, Python, or warehouse automation tools is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting operational KPIs.
